We started PetGrove for the pets who gave everything first.

There's a moment every pet parent recognises. The grey creeping across a muzzle. The pause before jumping onto the couch. The slower walk home. It's not sad — it's just a new chapter. And that chapter deserves the same care and attention as every one before it.

PetGrove exists for that chapter.

What we actually do

We find and test comfort products built specifically for senior dogs and cats — orthopaedic beds that support ageing joints, elevated feeders that reduce neck strain, gentle grooming tools for thinning coats, and safety essentials for pets who wander a little more than they used to.

Every product in our store is selected against one question: does this genuinely make life easier or more comfortable for an older pet? If the answer isn't clearly yes, it doesn't make the cut. We don't sell toys for hyperactive puppies or fashion accessories — that's not what we do.

Why senior pets specifically

Because the pet industry is built for the young, energetic, Instagram-ready version of pet ownership. Puppies get the attention. Kittens get the viral videos. But the 12-year-old lab who still waits by the door every evening? The 14-year-old cat who's found her one perfect sunlit spot? They deserve a store that understands what they actually need — not what looks good in an ad.

How we choose products

We source exclusively from US-warehouse suppliers with fast, reliable shipping. Every product is evaluated for genuine senior-pet relevance — joint support, ease of access, gentle materials, safety features. We don't relabel generic pet products with senior keywords. If a product works for a senior pet, we explain exactly why and how. If it doesn't, we don't carry it.

Who we are

PetGrove is a small, independently run store. We're not a big-box retailer and we're not trying to be. We'd rather carry 30 products that genuinely help than 3,000 that don't. Every customer email gets a real reply. Every product question gets an honest answer — including 'that one's probably not right for your pet.'
